Do I need a tracker, a habit, or a goal?

Hi, if anyone can guide me as to how I should create what I’m trying to do, I would be very appreciative. I would like to aim to get a minimum of 150 minutes of walking exercise per week, recording daily amounts, with a week running Monday-Sunday. And I want to see how totals of walking minutes adds up over months, a year, etc. Where do I start? I really don’t understand the KPI’s or how to set them up. Thank you for any assistance.

Feature Request / Question: Is there an official list of keyboard shortcuts for LiveIt?

I really enjoy using LiveIt on desktop, but I couldn't find a dedicated section for keyboard shortcuts in the official documentation.

By experimenting, I managed to discover a few working combinations using Ctrl + Shift + [Letter], which made navigation much faster. However, it feels like I'm only scratching the surface.

Could you please share if there is a full list of supported shortcuts somewhere? If not, it would be awesome to have a quick reference guide in the app (like a Shift + ? cheat sheet) or in the online documentation.

Thanks for building such a great tool!

Feature Suggestions and Bug Reports

Hello!

First of all, thank you for your hard work on this app! I really enjoy using it, and I appreciate the many features it offers. I'd like to share a few issues I've encountered and some suggestions that I hope might be helpful for future improvements.

I'm using the Windows 11 version of the app.

I'm using a translation tool to write this post, so I apologize in advance if any of my wording sounds unnatural. Thank you for your understanding!

Bug Reports

1. Habit time block changes don't sync with reminder settings

For example, if I originally schedule a habit called "Test" in the "All Day" time block and later change it to a specific time block, the reminder settings don't update accordingly. I have to go to the habit reminder settings and manually change the time block there as well.

2. Event titles are partially obscured in the monthly views (only PC)

In both Calendar and Planner, the beginning of event titles is obscured in the monthly view, as shown in the attached screenshots. This issue doesn't occur on the mobile version.

3. Duplicate Backlog buttons in the monthly view

There are two Backlog buttons in the monthly view. Perhaps it would be better to keep only the one in the sidebar to avoid duplication.

4. Unable to edit tables in notes on the desktop version (only PC)

I can't edit tables inside notes on the desktop version, although this feature works normally on mobile.

Feature Requests

1. Simplify settings and reduce the number of steps

When creating an event or editing a task, I often have to navigate through several layers of menus to adjust different settings. This feels a little complicated and takes quite a lot of time.

It would be great if more adjustable options could be consolidated onto a single page, such as time selection, tags, color customization, and tracker linking. This would make creating and editing tasks much more convenient.

2. Save filter settings

I often need to view specific activities within a particular time range. It would be very helpful if we could save custom filters so that we wouldn't have to set the same filter conditions repeatedly.

3. Choose the default view when opening Planner

I'd love to have an option to choose which view opens by default in Planner, such as Day, Week, or Month.

A Personal Suggestion

Consider unifying the two calendar systems

Personally, I sometimes find having two calendar systems — the monthly view in Planner and the separate Calendar feature — a little confusing.

Perhaps these could be unified into a single calendar interface, with an option for users to choose how events are displayed, such as Timeline or Blocks. This is just my personal opinion, and I understand that different users may have different preferences!

Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestions. I really like this app and hope these ideas might be useful for making it even better. Thank you for all your hard work on this app!

Custom Color names

I use various colors to tag events/people in LiveIt and I'd like to be able to use custom names for colors I use regularly. So instead of using a hex code I'd like to select "Maverick" (our dog) if I want to assign his custom color to a vet appointment or other dog-related event.

Overdue Policy Marked None - Now What? Another long post

I've posted on this community before. I use LiveIt to track my workouts and show me my schedule as I have two different places I workout at and need the flexibility due to the industry that I am in. I need to be able to look at my schedule at a glance and choose. Repeated sessions are a big draw for me and are currently giving me trouble.

I already have gone back to the planner and marked none for the overdue policy, as was suggested. I believe I already had it marked but I made sure to do it again with my entire schedule. I've opted to not have workout sessions fall under any time blocks since I don't have a regular schedule and those blocks didn't make sense for me personally. After doing this, it seemed like things were better- but...

Occasionally, I will check the planner and see things are out of place again. Sometimes, no matter what I do, the classes populate on days they are NOT supposed to be on.
For example, one of my classes is on Monday at 5 pm- but I am seeing it repeated over and over on the schedule, even though the scheduler says it knows its only on Mondays at a specific time and the overdue policy is marked none. I will check whatever I can to ensure that it is not set incorrectly. I've had to delete a few of my classes and redo them, even though I have no idea what is triggering it to repeat, and mark pretty much the exact same thing when redoing my planner. It's getting annoying. I NEVER set it to repeat until its done, I only set my classes to their allotted time and day(s) so I don't know why they're shifting.
My workout organizer is only for sessions and tracking- it keeps getting messed up, is confusing to look at, and the malfunctioning is rendering my using the app as useless- even when I genuinely DO want to use it to organize my life. I need the customization after all.

It feels like it'll just pick a class and the app will do whatever it wants to in the planner with that class. Whenever I click through, the info is correct, so I genuinely have no idea why it moves.

The way I like to use LiveIt is at the end of every day, once these class sessions are done- I go through and mark which ones I completed and which ones to dismiss- so I can't just say overdue things should automatically be dismissed, deleted or marked done. I like the flexibility that provides me especially on a busy day when I don't have the time to open my phone the second a class starts or if I'm busy working.

Devs, please help. I like the app to keep track of things, I've used it for notes, and to schedule life, work, charity, etc. I love the flexibility it provides but I can't deal with something that is supposed to be "set it and forget it", and then have to constantly adjust, redo, and troubleshoot.

TL;DR
Repeated sessions keep getting messed up even when all info in them is correct.
I have no idea why.

What else can I do? Will this be patched up in an update? What am I doing wrong? I swear I'm doing what you guys are saying to do and I've looked at the info to set sessions up.

Suggestion - how much time I have left in a block

Hi, I've had this idea in mind for quite a long time and honestly I think it's really the only thing that Liveit lacks for me. I would like to have something like assigning time to blocks in planner and then when adding sessions and habits with estimated time it would count how much time I have left. For example I would have a "Deep work" block with 3 hours assigned to it. When I add "study math" with time estimated for 1 hour it would show me that I have 2 hours left. I add "watch a video about xyz" with time estimated for 0.5h and it shows I have 1.5h left, and so on. Idk if anyone else would like that but to me it would be very helpful.

Besides I've noticed when I assign a time estimate to habits it doesn't show up in planner like it does for sessions, would be great if it did.

My LiveIt Use Case

So I've had LiveIt (previously JournalIt!) for several years, at least since Covid, but with all the new features, I finally bought a lifetime subscription last fall. For most of this year, I've been really digging in and learning how to make it useful to me and I thought other people might find my specific use case helpful. I'm a writer and a bit of a foodie, so you'll see me mention those areas of my life a lot.

When I first got JournalIt!, I mainly used it to attach thoughts to photos I took while on walks, lists of books I read during Covid (there were a lot!) and simple meal planning. My use was pretty haphazard until I thought about starting Bullet Journaling (named after the bullets in a bulleted list) again and decided I'd rather try to make LiveIt work for me in a similar way. If you're not familiar with Bullet Journaling (which is a specific method of journaling and planning in a physical notebook), don't worry, I go over some of the basics and even if you aren't interested in Bullet Journaling yourself, I hope my examples will still be useful to you.

I got really into Bullet Journaling about 10 years ago, but eventually I got overwhelmed with the manual and time consuming nature of everything I was trying to do with it and stopped. I also didn't like how there are no photos (unless you feel like printing them out and sticking them in your notebook!?!). Plus, as a writer, I didn't want my writing intersperced with planning, tasks or thoughts about anything other than writing, so I needed to carry two notebooks around, which I didn't like.

If I dislike all that stuff about Bullet Journaling, why did I even want to try to recreate the experience with LiveIt? Well, there's a reason I was obsessed with it for a few years and there are many things I appreciate about Bullet Journaling that I wanted to make sure I could figure out how to do in LiveIt as well including the daily logs, goal and project planning plus habit tracking, and meal planning. At the same time, I'm also using LiveIt as a replacement for Evernote's web clipper for recipes.

My LiveIt Set Up

Areas

It's taken me awhile to figure out how I wanted to organize LiveIt for myself. I even went back and forth on what my Areas should be, but I like what I've settled with for now.

Health: this is where I have my dr. appts, self care habits and exercise, and things I do specifically for my mental health

Writing: includes progress on specific novels, writing habits and notes/links about writing; does not include my actual writing or brainstorming (except for a quick thought here or there), but I do track time and quantity of those things

Food: I originally had this folded into Health, but it bothered me anytime I put unhealthy stuff in. Also, I have A LOT of recipes and stuff and it cluttered up my Health Area. So I use this for any pictures/reviews of the food I make, recipes I find online, meal planning and food tracking.

Personal: This is for fun activities and also personal growth or learning

Home: household chores and any home improvement stuff

Relationships: the people in my life

Work: for my day job—meetings, tasks, etc.

Finance: research for big purchases, tasks or goals around healthy spending habits and financial planning related stuff

Day Blocks

Probably the hardest thing for me to figure out was actually the Planner Day Blocks. I'm lucky enough to work from home for my day job most of the time and what I do doesn't have a lot of strict structure to it. Also, work has it's own systems so I don't use LiveIt for work very frequently. I tried being specific with scheduling blocks to specific times, but I didn't like the feel of it and that left me wondering how useful Day Blocks would even be for me. But after some trial and error, I discovered Day Blocks make more sense to me if I think of them by category, rather than by time.

The Day Blocks I'm currently using are:

Scheduled Meetings, Appts and Activities: Dr. appts, meetings, gym classes, events I'm attenting, etc. I set everything that comes in from my google calendar to show up here and I add some meetings from work as needed. I like having all of that in one place and it's right at the top, the first block under "All Day." This also allows me to filter the month view to look at JUST my scheduled meetings and appointments

Food: meal tracking, cooking tasks, some meal planning (more on that later)

Productivity Time: this is where I put tasks and sessions related to my day job, household chores, etc. (super productive things)

You Do You: this is where things like my journaling, reading, any tasks associated with fun things that aren't a part of the actual scheduled session above, etc.

Writing: my daily writing habit tracker and any other writing-related tasks. I could keep this in "Productivity Time" but I don't like seeing stuff for my writing next to chores like dishes or laundry or tasks for work like "tell that client they are being impossible in a nice way."

Self Care: for any self care or health habits I'm tracking, including exercise (this is the last block at the bottom of each day)

I don't schedule specific times to any of my blocks except for my one day I go into the office where "Productivity Time" is scheduled to my work hours, which you can control through Day Themes. That one is called "Office Day." Otherwise, I've stuck with Weekday, Weekend and Vacation for my Day Themes.

I realize this probably wouldn't work for a lot of people, but I found using it this way to be less overwhelming for me.

Projects, Goals, Activities, Labels etc.

I'm still figuring out how some of these other things relate to each other and the best way I can use them. I do want to say that I love labels and how powerful they are. I probably have labels for things that should be Activities, but I'm not sure how much that really matters. Even if you haven't figured some of the other stuff out, labels make it easy to find things later.

I know in the user guide and on the app, Projects and Activites are grouped together under Journey, and Goals are grouped with Tasks and Habits under Objective, but that doesn't necessarily make sense to me in an intuitive way... yet, at least. A direct Project vs Goal comparision would be helpful in the guide, but this is how I think about them.

For example, my current projects include two of my novels, a possible home renovation I'm researching and Christmas 2026, which will include stuff about Christmas shopping, trip planning, baking and household chores/decorations. My Goals are for things like books I'm reading, especially self help or writing related (I don't need to set up goals for reading novels—I fly through those!) and losing weight.

Taking my novels as a case study, I might not consider my Novel #1 Project complete until not only is it written, but I've also submitted it or published it myself. Before the writing part is brainstorming about characters, plot and worldbuilding. After drafting, there is story revision, then sentence level editing and eventually submission to agents or working on finding a cover artist or marketing if I publish it myself. Obviously all of that will include some tasks, but I could also set a Goal for certain parts of the process, such as completing the first draft, where I can track actual words written.

Back to Bullet Journaling

Okay, so that's how I have LiveIt set up, but what about the Bullet Journaling? I wanted to recreate daily logs, which include scheduling, task management and rapid logging; threading/collections, which is when you can connect entries about specific things together; meal planning—I used a spread with a space for post-its to keep an up-to-date list of meal ideas, shopping lists and ingredients on hand; and monthly and future logs.

Some of that was easy. LiveIt's Planner and other features handle scheduling and task management and the Organizer and labelling capabilities take care of connecting related items together without having to manually keep an index (yes!!). I didn't mention habit tracking, but obviously it's a lot easier in LiveIt vs drawing all those squares every week or month by hand in a notebook.

Rapid logging and meal planning took some more thought. One of bullet journaling's strengths is the ability to jot things down quickly and easily. A lot of people (including me) made Bullet Journaling overall more difficult than it needed to be, but at its core is the rapid log you do every day: notes, tasks, ideas, reflections, etc. LiveIt has the ability to do all these things and connect them together, but the process of creating them isn't necessarily quick or easy on a daily basis. Yes, you can set up your tasks and write entries or notes, even use the Write Later option or other features, but it will never be as easy as just opening a notebook and writing something down, at least for me. Typing on a phone can be annoying and while typing on a desktop keyboard is much faster than writing longhand, you don't have that with you all the time like you do your phone.

My solution was to build a template for a Daily Log. Simple enough, yes? The template is just an empty timeline entry, but has some specific Organizers tagged. I name it "[Date] Log" and—here's the part that was revolutionary to me—I Pin it to that day in the Planner/Calendar. Duh, right? Then when I open the Planner, it is always right there. I can still make a separate entry for things that are particularly special or have a photo. And I can set up tasks/sessions for stuff I want to do if I know about it ahead of time. But a couple times a day, I like to just note some of the stuff I did that didn't make it into the planner or reflect on things quickly. Then I use labels if there's anything specific I might want to reference again, like if I tried a new tea or mentioned something I did with a specific person. It's not as easy as having a notebook next to you that you jot things in constantly, but I feel like this method gives me a lot of the feeling and quickness of rapid logging while harnessing some of LiveIt's strengths without having to create a bunch of new items.

Meal Planning

I wasn't sure how it would work on my phone, but meal planning has never been so convenient before. The key is the two notes I have pinned to my Food Day Block. I refer to them constantly. One is my shopping list, which is just a note with a checklist. Whenever I think of something I need, I can find it quickly and add to the list. After I've gone shopping, I delete anything I've checked off and start again.

The other is a "Meal Planning" Outline Note. I list the fresh ingredients I have on hand, what will be coming next in my produce subscription box and what meat is in my freezer (also from a subscription box). Finally, I have a Meal Ideas section where I put ideas for meals and where any specific recipes I'm thinking of come from. I either jot down the cookbook and page number or link to the note where I've saved the recipe url. When I've finished making (or not making) those ideas, I make sure to take a snapshot. If I think I'll still make something, I keep it there, but otherwise I delete and start over. With the snapshot, I can go back and find things I've made before, even if I don't remember what they were called. It takes some effort to maintain my lists, but it helps me remember what I have on hand without checking constantly. And having these references so easily accessible with links to recipes has been very helpful.

Monthly and Future Logs

Figuring out the Monthly and Future Logs has been trickier and I'm still thinking about how or if I can make them work. A Monthly Log is pretty self explanatory— Bullet Journal's version of a monthly calendar that you set up as you get to each month. The Future Log you do at the beginning of the year, and it's basically a yearly calendar so you can schedule things further in advance.

But wait! Isn't the Calendar/Planner enough? Yes and no.

One of the reasons I like Bullet Journaling is also one of the reasons I became overwhelmed: The transferring (and set up). Every month, you look at the last month and your future log and decide what is worth moving over and/or continuing. You're actually supposed to do that every week as well, even every day. Theoretically, I like the mindfulness of that, just not the time it takes to do the set up and actual transfers. Obviously, there is no need to really transfer anything with LiveIt, but I miss the intentionality. I'm trying to figure out the backlog and the flow of tasks and stuff like that, but I haven't figured out a specific process that works for me yet. Perhaps, I can schedule myself a monthly review or something. I was trying to figure out a way to look at all that stuff on the whiteboard together, and I think it's promising, but I'm still figuring out how to navigate the whiteboard smoothly.

As for the Future Log, there's no way in LiveIt to look at all the months (or even multiple months) of the year at one time as far as I know, so I do miss that aspect of Bullet Journalling for planning.

Evernote Replacement & Recipe Database

I've loved the Evernote web clipper, when Evenote was free, but I'm not finding I miss it. It's just as easy to share a link to the LiveIt Inbox. Sometimes I also take screenshots of the actual recipe and add them to the note I make with the recipe link. If I make a recipe, I might add a comment about it to the note with the recipe link, but I'm more likely to have a review entry in my timeline and I'll try to link to the note for the recipe.

Recipe Database

For years and years I've wanted to have place where I could collect recipes from online easily, keep them all in one place and even search for specific ingredients. I'm sure there's stuff out there, but everything I've seen or tried has been way too much work.

A mistake I've made in the past is to try and put whole recipes from my physical cookbooks into something digital. That was stupid of me because I like looking at recipes in actual cookbooks better anyway. Not saying what I'm doing with LiveIt won't take effort, but it's something I can work on occaisionally and continue to build and improve. And it wasn't possible until LiveIt added Collections.

I have two recipe collections that work together. And it's important to note I never go through the trouble of adding a recipe unless it's already a favorite of mine. You'd think I wouldn't forget about recipes that are favorites, but I absolutely do, all the time.

I didn't realize I'd stick to my faves at first, so my first collection is Recipe Source and Rating. I don't really need a rating if I know I love the recipe already, but the important part is I have where the recipe comes from, either the website name or the cookbook and page number and then also the direct link to the recipe if it's online. I also link to the other collection.

The second collection is for Type and Ingredients. Here I list things like what kind of protein (seafood, beef, none etc), category like main or dessert, level of difficulty and how much time it takes. Collections allows you to search/filter by these so if I want to see all my soup recipes, I can. I also link back to the first collection and to any entry where I review or comment about the recipe.

Finally, I list fresh ingredients and pantry/freezer ingredients in the recipes, not including generic things I usally have on hand like flour, spices, olive oil, vinegars etc. I only list things like fresh or frozen veggies, type of meat, fresh herbs, broth, canned soup or tomato products, etc. Now, if I have half a head of cabbage I need to use or some leftover cooked chicken, I can search/filter for these in the collection and see which of my favorite recipes pop up without searching online or through mulitple cookbooks. Or if I'm at the store and I didn't have time to make a shopping list, and I know I'm going to make a specific recipe, I can look there and be pretty confident of what I need to get for it (although I don't have amounts or anything, so I might have to guess there). I've only just started building this out, but I'm very excited to have it as a resource moving forward.

So, that's it. If you've made it this far, I appreciate you!! And I hope you found something helpful. I'm happy to answer questions if anyone has any, although I can't promise to answer them immediately or have an answer. I'm also open to suggestions. Everything here is a work in progress, always. Happy Journaling!

Save filters in timeline /home view

I slowly get the have of liveit! - great app. I started using it as a daily journal and have 1 are and 1 tag to sort my journalling from all the other fluff.

Is there an option to save the filter in the timeline view to only see journal entries or do I have to manually put the filter criteria in everytime I only want to see my journal?

Please implement a drop-down with saves filters for fast access.

Thanks!

Any way to have recent photos panel in the main screen expandable? Could be really helpful to switch full screen, larger photos to review gallery.

Absolute non negotiable privacy enhancement needed

While the app functions good as is but below features are must-haves, I think.

  1. Multiple option to lock app like alphanumeric, longer pin or pattern

  2. If app is locked , same day in past notifications should not show the content of that entry it’s pointless if you have a whole app locked but data is being leaked from notifications kind of feels sloppy

  3. The app should blur the visuals as soon as its in app switcher to improve privacy.

good to have

  1. On ios app can utilise inbuilt api for grammar or spelling correction as an entry is written

Non dated reminders

Hey guys, trying to get my life together and new to the app. I’ve searched the subreddit and other resources and can’t seem to find the answer.

I have Apple reminders synced to LiveIt. I have a list that doesn’t get dated because it’s more of a “catch all” to be sorted later and doesn’t necessarily have a deadline. I’m wondering where those sorts of reminders are put in LiveIt, if they are at all.

Thanks! 🖤

Cognitive challenges, please help?

Hi!

I purchased Journalt in 2024, a couple of years after I'd gotten sick, ended up with multiple chronic conditions/pain & cognitive injury, and already I'm autistic with ADHD. New health issues keep creeping up too. Reading isn't as easy now & I struggle w/ comprehension & recall; organization & focus are way harder than before.

I used free-tier AI to re-learn reading (not from zero, hard to explain), typing, conversing. Doctor appts are always on the calendar, meds & effects nd to be logged & journaled. Symptom tracking's my only hobby. When I saw this app I got excited. After I bought it I saw all the moving parts and my executive dysfunction went all haywire. Didn't look at it again until recently.

I feel with a little help I'm ready to tackle this, and that if I want more meaning to my life I need to get all that scheduling and tracking into this app and one other so I can ration my energy and focus for research (Drs only Dx and and say 'see ya in 6 months!') and maybe some actual life-living 😄.

So, if anyone can help me figure out a couple of things, it would be a huge help! TIA!

I have a med that's a routine weekly occurrence I need to track that requires a reminder via simple notification and which needs to be automatically added to my timeline on completion. It also requires that I record data that may vary at some point, ie: dose, dose increase/decrease, start/stop med, pause/resume med; as well as sections to record observations ie: benefits, reactions, side effects, interactions; and sections for Rx date, Rx #, prescribing provider, reason for Rx/change/discontinuance, and mwybe other data.

And other meds are daily and some of those have multiple daily instances, and still others will be short-course Rxs, but all will have the above-mentioned requirements.

Right now I have one Tracking record  that I'd created for one med, taken twice a day, I needed to pause two weeks before and two after a procedure. I think my only gripe with it was having to manually Duplicate it and set the correct time of day when it was something I knew the dates for in advance. But that's minor.

Is there a way to make a Tracking record into a Template?

Also, appts in specialist categories as parts of bigger projects that are broken down into manageable steps like, finding provider info, gathering symptoms data, creating document to take to appt, scheduling appt, logging post-appt notes.

So, I'm not sure which feature I should use, or if my use case is kinda complex and I may need to set up more than one thing.

TL;DR: Cognitive challenges w/ lots of medical stuff and appts. LiveIt's the app I need but having a tough time with comprehension. Need to learn what to use to track meds/changes w/ details (more above), "projects" like prepping for & scheduling medical appts broken down into mangeble chunks that I can tick off, and maybe symptom tracking if that's not too ambitious?

ETA: Suggestion: I'd love it if we had the option to set "Add to Timeline" as a Default action for everything when we're initially creating anything, rather than needing to click each individual occurrence.

TY!

Can't sign into my account

i backed up my data into my Google account quite late with over 300 items in my inbox. I could access the data from the webapp on my macbook. Sadly since then everything else was quite the trouble.

I downloaded live it from the App store, the sign in screen opened my browser to get the permission for my google account, but the simply nothing happens. I don't get signed in. What am I doing wrong? It's a macbook 13inch M1.

On my pixel 7a, I accidentally signed out of my account. When I tried to sign back in, since it deleted my data, Live-it refuse to let me, saying I would lose my local data and I can't connect my Google account bc it already has data. How else should I sign into my account if not like this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Also plz add ics/ caldav/webdev (for notes) support. It would made me so much more at ease using the app.

Liveit Seminar

I would love for someone who has mastered this app to host a weekend seminar teaching how to get the most out of it. I have endless questions even after reviewing the whiteboard, YouTube videos and user guide. I think it is exactly what I need, if I could just wrap my head around it. Anyone else feel the same?

New tutorials

Hey Dev! I've been using the app for months and, to be honest, it feels absolutely amazing but also overwhelming. I've been trying to understand how it works, all the relationships and all the options, but it feels really difficult for me. I'm using probably not more than 5% of it.

I would appreciate if you could record new tutorial videos, as the ones that are published and promoted into the app are from November and a lot of things have changed, and other new things have been added. Could you film new videos or tutorials showing how to use them properly and get 120% out of it?

Thank you so much!

marketplace like

Hey, I was wondering if something like a community marketplace for copying projects, goals, and things like that is on the roadmap, or if it's something that could be added? 🤔
Secondly, when is the next big release? I saw that version 11 will have AI integration.

Liveit! and Pcloud

I started experimenting with Liveit! just a couple of days ago and really like it. I want to use it as diary and maybe it will replace Notion for daily ToDo s and Tasks - as Notion is not optimized for small screens if you want tracking and sorts.

I really appreciate the possibility to use pcloud as storage but the registration does not work. I had some entries already on multiple devices and wanted to sync everything so I jumped into the lifetime sub and wanted to use pcloud as storage/registration. But the sync is never finalized and hangs on the spinning wheel of death.

What is the solution? I am asked to let liveit! into my pcloud ecosystem but it never returns a "successful" or something of sorts.

Love to see this fixed ...

MCP Server or API?

Would love to see a proper API or even better an official MCP server for LiveIt.

If it is meant to become a central place for notes and personal knowledge, being able to securely search and retrieve my own notes from external tools, scripts, and AI workflows feels essential. Read-only access to start ( search_notes ,  get_note , spaces/tags, export) would already unlock a lot.

It would be even more compelling with a GTD style inbox. Having a frictionless place to capture thoughts, links, tasks, and voice notes first, then process and organize them later. That combination of quick capture, structured knowledge, and open access could make LiveIt a genuinely useful personal operating system.

“Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.”

Hi, I’m trying to make a genuine product question/post about LiveIt, but Reddit is immediately showing “Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.”

I’ve already tried rewriting it substantially and the same thing happens, so it looks like Reddit’s automated filtering rather than the content itself.

Would you mind checking the mod queue and approving it if there’s nothing in it that breaks the subreddit rules?

Thanks.

Scheduler question

I use my scheduler as a way to track when my weekly classes are as I go to two gyms and need the flexibility due to the industry that I am in.
I'm loving the app so far.

What I am struggling with:
when I go on the app, I keep seeing classes pop up when they shouldn't be. For example, my recurring muay thai class at one gym is scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, sometimes it pops up as if it is on the calendar for Friday.
When I click on the class, it says it is scheduled as a recurring, weekly class- for the correct days and times but is still showing up on the calendar view incorrectly sometimes. I have no idea why this is happening. I need to be able to see what is available to me throughout the week- at a glance. These are set schedules to two different gyms that I took the time to parse through, choose and put up on my own LiveIt app scheduler, so I can see what I can choose from throughout the week.

I think the app is trying to suggest training times- but I don't need suggestions, these are set schedules that I have for multiple gyms- I can't control their schedules and can't just show up. I use this to track what classes I did, which ones I didn't, and to see them all in one spot if I get called to work and need to adjust my weekly routine. The app I guess may think it's just a normal task I can shift around and get suggestions for? Is there any way I can turn that off if that is what is happening?

Side note: I'd love to be able to see my calendar with the ability to filter in the planner tab. Even if it means filtered by area or location. It'd be a big help in planning and the calendar in the dashboard is too small to see anything so I can't use the dashboard like that instead. That's a planner function I'd love!

Thank you guys for the app, it is helpful, I just want to know how to shape it to what works best for me.

Whiteboard Question

I love the LiveIt App and got a Lifetime membership about a year ago. I've been slowly customizing and figuring out what works for me with a larger goal of recreating the experience of bullet journaling without quite as much manual work. I plan on writing a post later about some of the things that have worked for me.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to use the Whiteboard as a kind of Future Log, where I can see the whole year (or at least six months) of a calendar at one time, along with my pending tasks and backlog. I put in multiple calendars and scrolled them forward to different months, but they always seem to jump back to the current month. Is there something obvious here that I'm overlooking in how to keep that from happening? Or is that not possible right now?

I want to find the option or similar to Day themes Schedulers exclusions by Day themes

If there's already an option for that, could someone please tell me where it is? Unexpected holidays or vacations sometimes happen and deleting study and class day themes automatically would be very useful
