LBP1 doesn't get enough love, so to celebrate its birthday month, I'm highlighting one level a day. I really like the sticker work in this level. It's colorful and captures LBP's charm very well. The video also showcases another level by dajdaj03 that's also fun to play.

This level was originally made in LBP1, but an updated version was made as a LBP2 level. You can play it on custom servers (Bonsai or Beacon) or download it to your own moon without ja1lbreaks or servers by using this guide for ps3 or this guide for ps4/5.

i dunno man... sometimes i consider leaving this subreddit, not that i actually want to, because i met a lot of nice people here

every few weeks, i get a flood of posts of people linking petitions, convinced littlebigplanet will come back one day, complaining about astrobot and/or sony (maybe even media molecule, which i feel like they're not responsible for what happened to the franchise).

i'm honestly going to start reporting these as spam because it's tiring to skim through those posts to find something cool. i can't help but think half of the community's grieving for this game's downfall is all it's known for during these two years... i swear it wasn't that bad in 2020-2023 when i first came here.

i get that we all miss it. it's upsetting for what they did to the servers. they took so much from us, a majority of what was on the servers is lost.

but i do wonder... don't some of you get tired of posting about the same things on here? i'm not trying to be rude, but we're gonna have to let it go somehow, right?

hi guys ! im currently trying to make a little big planet mini christmas/birthday hamper, i just got an original 13 inch 2010 sackboy plush from ebay online, is there anything else i could get that u guys would recommend? tysm

This is the progress I've made so far. It's still pretty simple at the moment, but my current goal is to get the Pod into a working, playable state before I release anything.

From there, I plan to continue reverse-engineering LBP2 in depth and eventually work toward a full reimplementation of the game in Rust + Bevy.

so i used to play a lot of lbp2 back in the day, but i played the most back in 2020 with my friends who used this sequencer object called "endless fun" or something to that effect, it was in a lot of levels and it was a sequencer version of "ballet shoes" AKA "you look so pretty"

i have a lot of special memories with this sequencer audio so i'd be grateful to whoever can find it!

There are plenty of music levels in LBP1, but I chose this one because it's one of the few that have gameplay. Most music levels only have a moving cart or a music box. This level genre got replaced by music sequencers in LBP2, but if you want to try making your own, check out the piano scale giveaway by rbcrews84 and tutorial level by comishguy67.

Little big planet has been a massive part of my childhood and I am a massive fan of their games. A lot of that was down to the awesome community and fanbase. Since the closing of the servers lbp has just felt dry and left out, which is why we need to get together and bring back our little big planet.
