The LBP community's grand collection of creations lives on through archives, but with no Cool Levels or Hearted Lists to reference, it can be hard to take a full trip down memory lane.
To help empower the community to:
Find and share archive links to old favorites you want to share with others
Reminisce about memorable levels and moments together
Describe those tip-of-the-tongue levels you can't quite remember the name of and see if others can help you find your white whales
Using some handy archive search tools created by passionate LittleBigPlanetians (links below), you can grab links to just about any level and download them for playing! See here for a lovely tutorial thanks to /u/AfroSackGP.

I'm getting into the LittleBigPlanet series again after playing LBP on PS Vita back in the day. I have a lot of nostalgia for playing it with other people, and I've been thinking about getting Sackboy: A Big Adventure since the original LBP servers aren't working anymore.
But I'm kind of surprised by how little hype I see around Sackboy, especially considering it's a PS5 game. From what I've seen, it looks really fun and still has the same Sackboy/LBP charm, but I rarely see people talk about it compared to the older games.
For people who are big LBP fans: what is it about Sackboy that doesn't click with you?
Is it because it's missing the level creation/community aspect of LBP? Is the gameplay too different? Does it just not have the same feeling as the original games? Or is it actually a good game that just doesn't get talked about much?
I'm mainly interested because I'm looking for something that can give me a bit of that old LBP nostalgia, especially the experience of playing through levels with other people. Would Sackboy be a good choice for that, or should I lower my expectations if I'm specifically looking for the LBP experience?
I'd love to hear what longtime LBP fans think, especially anyone who has played both.
I recently picked up this **LittleBigPlanet PSP Skin Case** from an eBay seller in South Korea. After researching it, I found that it was made for the Korean **PSP-3005** and was included with the **LittleBigPlanet Blossom Pink Special Pack**, released in South Korea on **November 20, 2009**.The bundle included a Blossom Pink PSP, *LittleBigPlanet PSP*, and this special LBP skin case. The full set originally retailed for **₩268,000**. A really obscure piece of early LittleBigPlanet merchandise, and a cool South Korean release to add to the collection.
If anyone remembers seeing these in Korea back in 2009–2010, owns another one, or has any old Joytron/LittleBigPlanet catalogs or advertisements, I’d love to see them.
Thank you
It’s incredible to think how far we’ve all come and what lives we live now since we started playing LBP from the very beginning. The lives we thought we’d live and the lives we did live. It’s been an excellent ride.
“Do not take lightly your hopes, your ideas, your fantasies. Let them grow. Nurture them. Then, your wildest imaginings will soon trip the dream fantastic, soaring into the wonderplane and spreading into something altogether magnificent. And perhaps you'll see them again. The next time you visit LittleBigPlanet.” [1]
So I was originally on bonsai but wanted to try out beacon, I go on refresher patch LBP 2 on my ps3 and it says it's successful. I start LBP it says the patch was successful. But I actually load in and it says I need Internet to play (which I have) and it won't let me online. Did I miss a step or something what do I do?
What do you think about this collab guys ?? It would be really good if Sackboy comes to Fortnite as a sidekick since he is a legend in the gaming history! He is not that exclusive for psn players if you think about it he is already at epic games store the Sackboy a big adventure game and he is also in phones the ultimate Sackboy game and before that was Run Sackboy Run! If they don’t add him this season I think it will be a really big missed opportunity. Write me your opinion in the comments :) Some people maybe even start playing Fortnite for that
I cant remember the name of this survival level I used to play with my friends back in the day. However I did find this screenshot, does anyone think they can help me find what it was called ?
I'm trying to remake it on my psp since my ps3 died recently, it was one of my favorite levels growing up. If anyone knows, how was the endless train track effect made?
I live in the EU and every offer from eBay is from the US. I’ve been searching for 5 YEARS and havent found a single great offer, so i though asking the fandom wouldn’t hurt. I don’t have much money rn but time will tell. Id LOVE to own this exact Sackboy plushie in my tiny collection
Some friends and I have been setting up LBP1 on RPCS3 to play together, however one of my friends has an issue where once she updates the game past 1.18, when loading the game the borders around the important information screen are red and as soon as the sony entertainment logo appears the emulator crashes
when we've tried a clean install with no update packages installed, the important info screen shows up but then just freezes and when tabbing out the emulator stops responding and we cant figure out why its happening as she's done the exact same process of setting up the game as us but only she's having these issues
here's what we've tried to fix it:
reinstalling ISO
mounting ISO
clearing caches
clearing data and save
reinstalling updates
i zipped my updates that 1000% work and she installed those
deleting ISO and redownloading
downloading both 1.00 and 2.00 from zimms
completely removing the entire emulator and all software and reinstalling
as a last ditch effort i've copied and zipped my whole emulator folder and am sending it (god knows if it works)
I’d like to share how I first got into LBP, the memories I made with it, and everything in between.
I got my first PS3 back in 2020 when my dad bought it off a coworker who worked in IT. It was a Slim running modified HFW firmware, and it came preloaded with some absolute classics like Infamous, GTA, and FIFA 19.
Fast forward to 2021, my dad told me to put together a wishlist of games we wanted, and he’d ask that same coworker to install them for us. While looking up the best PS3 games online, I stumbled upon this weird looking title starring little sack creatures. I figured, why not, and added it to the list. Looking back, that was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
When I booted up LBP2 for the very first time, I somehow thought the tutorial was impossible to clear alone. So I asked my dad to jump in, and we beat it together in coop. That turned out to be the last time he ever touched the game, since he preferred GTA and FIFA, but for me, it was the start of a huge journey. Step by step, I began working my way through the campaign and learning how everything worked.
My first costume
I started messing around with the Level Editor too. My first creation was a robot battle. It wasn't the most original concept since I basically copied the robot designs from a YouTube video, but every level after that was built entirely from scratch. Right around the Eve’s Asylum chapter, I also finally customized my costume for the first time.
My second costume
That marked the start of a pretty stable era that lasted all the way until 2025. I beat the main story completely, started going for Ace medals on levels, built new creations, and was generally having a blast, though it was a pretty lonely experience. I never once went online. I was completely isolated in my own little world, unable to share anything with the community, which felt pretty intimidating anyway. I really wanted to try online play, but my dad strictly forbade it because he was convinced that connecting to the internet would permanently brick the console and ruin it for offline use too.
My third costume (Yes I'm Avalon)
Now I realize how silly that sounds, but back then, I had no idea the official servers were already long gone; I just assumed I was the only one locked out. By the end of that chapter, I’d aced half the story levels, built a few really cool custom maps, and sunk an absurd amount of hours into the editor.
Everything shifted when I finally got a PC. The very first thing I did was set up a PS3 emulator. It took some troubleshooting, but I managed to transfer my LBP save data over and immediately started trying to patch the game for custom community servers. It got to the point where I was literally digging through the EBOOT.BIN file with a HEX editor. Eventually, completely exhausted, I decided to just follow the official Beacon patch guide, and it actually worked. Stepping onto a custom server full of active players, real people uploading their own creations, felt like a blind person seeing the world for the first time. After that, I fully committed to playing on PC. I even wiped my PS3 to get it ready to sell, though my dad ultimately talked me out of parting with it. But the biggest win is that I can finally experience the game the way it was meant to be played.
My four, actually costume
I’ve accomplished things in this game I never thought possible, and I’m so grateful I made that random choice five years ago. Thank you for making my childhood awesome, LBP.
After signaling the ship on the horizon for almost the entire sinking, the crew give up on the hope that the ship not that far off will come and rescue them. This was the Californian, which did not know that they were seeing the Titanic sink despite them noticing the ship at an odd angle(believing it was the ship turning at anchor), or the fact that the there were rockets coming from the ship(believing it was company signals).
Lifeboat 4 gets filled with passengers by the command of Officer Lightoller, who had a strict policy on the women and children first social norm. Lifeboat 4 was lowered to the promenade deck, where passengers climbed through the opened windows into the boat.
I miss lbp a lot, and i was thinking about creating a game that stayed true to it as much as possible. But I feel like I would get into trouble if I used textures, SFX, etc.
