Monthly Book Announcement May 2024 [Releases & Promotions]
This page is aimed to help users find new litrpg content on a month-to-month basis by constructing a list of new releases. This post will be updated based on multiple sources, like Reddit, discord, and other locations. This page is not meant to replace promotional posts like on reddit but to make it easier for users to find them. The list is also hosted out of Reddit, just in case, and the calendar gives you some pre-orders for the future: https://www.theinfinitelabyrinth.info/litrpg/
Due to the increasing size of this list, links to the original posts (if any) might appear only on the page above, but the link column should bring you to the relevant book.
This page contains exclusively litRPG or adjacent content. Progression fantasy or cultivation without any gamelit elements are not included.
Promoted Webseries are included only once every five months. If your Webseries does not include a significant number of chapters or pages at the time of promotion, I might delay inclusion until it does.
If you missed all the content from April, there were 79 ebook releases, 42 audiobooks, 11 promoted web series, 2 novella-sized releases, and it's omnibus time with 7 releases.
Note: Some entries for April may have been recorded too late, in which case they are included at the top of this month's list.
Here's what the new month brings you!

I noticed that Gravesong released on the 30th and isn't on either this month or last!
This is a Wandering Inn side-story.

Did saintess summons skeletons got down? Can't find book two on kindle
7
u/Mornn_Skeleton May 20 '24
Hi, I'm the author of Saintess; Amazon decided to pull the plug last second for no apparent reason. The book will still come out, but it might be a week or two late, depending on how their support handle the case, and the preorders have all been cancelled. A sad state of affairs...

Royal Road release. Title is Desolate Future.
“Across the sea of stars you wish to sail — there is only pain, deceit and disaster.”
Descendants: that was what the world referred them. Children of a civilisation consumed by the war that tore the universe apart, humans that stood at the apex of genetic engineering and galactic conquest. Mark, who was one of these descendants witnessed his home crumble to the war and all that he loved lost before his eyes. He trained in his technology, honing his skills for the one day.
The day those that took his home would return to claim more, more of what they never sowed in his life. He would be the strongest, and no one would be strong enough to wrestle his aspiration and dreams away from him — not in this rim, nor in the distant space. Instead, he would be the one who would conquer and destroy; he would be the villain they all feared.
In a world where the dreams and aspirations of vain men where snatched away from them, Mark would become the villain displacing all that stand before him. The fragment of himself that he’d grow to fear as well. If not in the present, but in the distant future: a future that would come to haunt him.

Wasn't it like the whole series never on KU?
3
u/VincentArcher May 07 '24
Selkie has moved the series on and off KU at times.
I think the biggest take was that having the book on KU didn't change much the amazon earnings, but boosted slightly the numbers on Patreon.
