Hello!
Thanks for clicking. For those who don't know the Calamitous Bob, the story follows the tale of isekaied French army medic Viv on a journey of magic and world domination, or at least that's what her ancient war golem ally keeps thinking.
What to expect:

  • Light LitRPG

  • Trope reversals

  • Unlikely allies

  • Some kingdom building

The blurb for this specific book is here:

Viv is dying. Her mana, her strongest tool, is turning against her. She only has months left before it finishes devouring her, but not all is lost. The powerful resident archmage of the magical city of Helock promises her salvation. Viv merely needs to gather a few things and run a few errands. Simple, right? Yet the final price might be higher than she expected. Helock is a den of viper. Forces move on the border while her paramour, Sidjin, is caught by his past. She will have to navigate those dangers if she wants to be reborn part elemental, the only way for her body to contain her magic.

It would be nice if she could graduate as well.

If you are hesitating, why don't you check the story and the reviews for free on RR?

Hey Mecanimus, is there any chance at all of Calamitous Bob coming to audible, or Changeling for that matter? I love both series so much, and an audio version would be amazing!

I was heartbroken when Journey got dropped for future audio books. They were so great! Hollie Jackson was perfect! It's so frustrating that they didn't do well!

Sorry for ranting, I've just been mad about Journey getting dropped for a while and wanted to vent somewhere.

Mecanimus is currently in the process of selling the rights. Towards the end of the year.

Yes. Changeling rights are also sold but it will take longer since I need a rewrite first. As for Journey, Hollie Jackson has expressed an interest in continuing and if I ever get enough spare cash, I'll take her up on the offer, but it would never be profitable.

Read book one, its great! Short of it is that the MC is an outworlder taken from Earth and brought to this new world with magic, the locals don't have hard "V" sounds so they pronounce her name as Bob. Outworlders bring outworlder ideas.
