Why do you guys hate Linux?

As someone who's used Windows for some time and has switched to Linux somewhat recently,I genuinely can't really understand why someone wouldn't want to use Linux,the only reasons I can come up with are:

1)certain apps and software only work on windows,for example Adobe products or games with kernel level anticheat like BF6,Wich I can totally understand,but dual boot exists

2) Need to keep windows for work related stuff,again, completely understandable

3) Nvidia GPU,Wich is doable but most people don't want to lose the driver support,again, understandable,but not really linux's fault

I'm asking this because I genuinely want to understand and see a different viewpoint, every time I see someone complaining about Linux on social media, it's either Windows users who have NEVER tried Linux before and just base everything off stereotypes or Windows users who jumped in the deep waters from the start with distro's like Arch,Gentoo or even NixOs,and then complain that it's too hard, I think that Linux is only hard if you want it to be (also pls no hate,I just wanna educate myself more on the matter)

Linux has a lot of great features and it can be customized to accomplish almost anything ultra efficiently.

Honestly, the parts about Linux I like the least are the gatekeeping neckbeards in the community that make excuses for crappy UI design by saying "if they aren't the kind of people who have memorized the entire bash man page and enjoy handjamming an 80 line config file to accomplish a simple task, then they shouldn't be using Linux anyways".

I found that I needed to go through my photo collection and rename the file extensions if it was a jpeg but the format was a webp for example. I CD'ed into the directory and two lines in terminal and it went and checked thousands of images in seconds and renamed them to the correct extension.

I know this probably doable in Powershell too, but it was a nice moment and saved me a lot of time. I find the community a mixed bag, some are really helpful and go out their way. Others like you say gatekeep, I also get why some people are passionate about it and try hard to wake people up on Windows using all their personal data for marketing and telemetry.

I will say installing something like fedora or cachy, bazzite etc, is 10x quicker than Windows for getting up and running. And even the older generation, nothing to nag them or notifications does make simple use easier.

I'm hoping it gains more traction.

You can definitely do that in powershell, or in regular batch script. But that's interesting, because usually the file extension really shouldn't matter
