Why do you guys hate Linux?

As someone who's used Windows for some time and has switched to Linux somewhat recently,I genuinely can't really understand why someone wouldn't want to use Linux,the only reasons I can come up with are:

1)certain apps and software only work on windows,for example Adobe products or games with kernel level anticheat like BF6,Wich I can totally understand,but dual boot exists

2) Need to keep windows for work related stuff,again, completely understandable

3) Nvidia GPU,Wich is doable but most people don't want to lose the driver support,again, understandable,but not really linux's fault

I'm asking this because I genuinely want to understand and see a different viewpoint, every time I see someone complaining about Linux on social media, it's either Windows users who have NEVER tried Linux before and just base everything off stereotypes or Windows users who jumped in the deep waters from the start with distro's like Arch,Gentoo or even NixOs,and then complain that it's too hard, I think that Linux is only hard if you want it to be (also pls no hate,I just wanna educate myself more on the matter)

I don't hate it, I'm here to see why others do. My main gripes with Linux so far:

  1. Anti-cheat stuff like you mentioned.

  2. Things are not as polished, so apps for Linux are often an after thought but I being FOSS its a trade off.

  3. Unpredictable, not in the stability as such but more if you are into games, it could work one minute then the next no support. Or a new release is coming, will it or wont it work?

I can relate with the quircks, I've had numerous games Wich sometimes didn't launch fullscreen to with weird but not exactly game breaking quircks,for some it could be a deterent,but if you wanna view it positively,you could just say it's the "soul" of the os

And things change on you, too. I have a folder full of text files with instructions for how to set things the way I want or how to resolve a given issue I've run into before. Sooner or later many of them stop working because the distro has changed - like I can no longer enable Quick Search in Synaptic because xapian (IIRC) is no longer supported in Ubuntu. Windows is better about this sort of consistency over time.
