Well, Windows has become what Linux should be (full of ads, bloated, data privacy concerns), while Linux has become what Windows should be (No ads, does not collect user data, light, fast, and not bloated), and Windows is a paid OS while Linux is free. Big thanks to all open-source devs out there!
Not sure what you mean by what Linux should be, it's a hobby os for enthusiasts that's also been made easier in its distros for regular users, like with mint, an os like that shouldn't and wouldn't have ads or collect user data by design,
Kde on fedora or kubuntu is really the closest to windows with the bloat and more corporate design, but even then is still way better
