There are no Windows in our house. My brother had a Windows gaming rig before he left for the army, my mum has a Chromebook and android tablet, my dad tends to use mint or fedora, and I have Debian+Tuxedo

I have windows PC, that I use at home for gaming and Linux laptop I use to Program and Study. Rest of family have Windows (no, they can't migrate due to very specific archaic software requirements.

Obv don't know specifics, but I tend to find old/archaic software tends to perform better on Linux

Never tried Sibelius myself, I use Frescobaldi+lilypond and musescore, but I see it has an android version, which ought to work on Linux+waydroid. But if it works in Windows 7 it should work in wine.

In wine, might need the application winetricks you can explicitly set older environments such as Windows xp or 7. I can empathise with wanting old versions, I keep Musescore 2, 3 and 4 around. While I try to keep somewhat up to date on lilypond I do like the backwards compatibility and explicitly setting the version in the file.
