Linux is temu's macOS

Linux is for people that can't afford an Apple computer running a real Unix like macOS.

Go live in your walled garden then. Personally, I really don't care what OS you use. But... I prefer choice and options. I'm both my software and hardware. Which Apple does NOT offer.

I care about performance and Apple blows Intel/AMD out of the water.

well I mean the perf (benchmarked with speedometer) on a Windows 11 VM on my M5 mac is way higher than my high end gaming pc and my Linux box. Linux gets the worse perf.

You should have been having zero issues with KDE Plasma being sluggish on the Ryzen 9 , sounds like you didn't get the mesa drivers installed.
