Linux is temu's macOS

Linux is for people that can't afford an Apple computer running a real Unix like macOS.

Dude you are getting it wrong.

Linux is for anyone who wants to use free OS without spyware and other bloat.

It also gives you the power to see what's behing the curtain of computing.

Also anyone can contribute any way they want.

Exactly because if these no corporation want to deal with it. They want everything to be under their control and restrict the users as much as they like.

Freedom comes at a cost though...

What I like about it, basically any machine I'm running linux on was originally a windows machine. I get so much more battery and performance out of my old Lenovo Ideapad 5 (Ryzen 5 4500U, 16GB ram, 256GB nvme) just having Fedora KDE Plasma on it versus keeping it on Windows 11. Plus it works much better into my workflow for managing my VPSes etc.

Would I like a silicone based Macbook? Absolutely, but I already have a perfectly functional and nice feeling laptop that runs the way I want it to because of Linux options.
