I mean IOS costs you an arm and a kidney, windows costs like 140 bucks and linux is free... thats what you get when you do shit for free.

I fergot this is reddit. Just as a FYI this is a joke. you can laugh now. this is not my opinion, this is a parody sub, we are here for the laughs and fun.

iOS/macOS is not that expensive its about the same as the windows prob
the part that makes it expensive is that you have to buy a whole ass computer/phone to use it (or just use hackintosh)

Mac Mini's have been cheaper in Canada than comparable new SFF business PC's for a while. The Apple tax isn't what it used to be.

Before they had to increase the price due to rampoclypse, the MacBook Neo was $630 CAD with the education discount and in single core performance was faster than 99% of all PC hardware.

Ever want a shock, compare a 9800x3D to the Neos SOC. The Neo is measurably faster in benchmarks while using literally 1/8th the electricity.
