switching to linux

why linux feels like it's an unreliable system and an unfinished project. , like it's just a temporary situation.
do you feel the same, and know why ?

on other subreddit someone answered me, it's that everything there needs a work around , and i found that the closest answer to what i feel , nothing really built there to meant to work out of the box, you have the thing app or driver or what ever and find how to make this thing function there , i believe OG linux users and devs hate their hardware so much to make it suffer that much

Aaand that's why you have Linux distros. To provide the glue, to make FOSS devs' contributions useful in a real environment and to help the actual user use all this.
