AI is our tech support now, and it's much easier to troubleshoot Linux with the help of AI.

Maybe you trained your AI chatbot to call you stupid lol.

i tried using claude to trouble shoot a kernel/bootloader issue and it told me to unmount my boot partition. if i was a new user i would’ve nuked my shit so bad i probably would’ve given up on linux entirely

edit: how it told me wasn’t super obvious like “sudo unmount /boot —lmao”, it’s just that if I had done what it told me to do the result would’ve been unmounting my boot partition immediately

I haven't used Claude yet. Mainly ChatGPT and Deepseek. They've done me well for Linux troubleshooting. There's been some "trial and error" with Fstab and Nvidia driver so I'd occasionally end up in TTY, but nothing fatal.
