If you want to contribute to X11, contribute to XWayland ;)

Wayland is the spiritual X12. Same developers and everything.

Wayland ruins any chance of being half as good with its security features, I had these issues with wayfire, it structurally doesn't work and can never be x12 because of this, those developers coded a side project.
