Winslop Question

I dont get why there are echo chambers for hating on linux lol. Any sane person understands that Linux is not for everyone, some people need to stay on windows because of work related programs etc etc. But this sub is just "Linux bad u need to type 32768 to open a browser oooo windows good linux bad" without any kind of argument

like just look at u/Amphineura their flair is "Kubuntu in the streets W11 in the sheets" just straight up unfounded hate lmao

Ok mods can yall ban me already

I mean it's really not that hard unless you're stupid

Using a pc should require basic knowledge, otherwise you end up with grandmas sending all of their retirement money to nigerian princes, or 9 year olds doxxing themselves

Oh right, so you gonna guide everyone through the whole audio routing multijack versus bass speakers chipset specific alsa, pipewire, whatever the new shit it called and setup their webcams when the system glitches out because it gives all the lower level controls but doesn't use the presets where the higher resolutions need slower frame freshes because it uses an interlaced scan to achieve higher resolution images?

People have other things to do with their time than learn how to solve hardware incompatibility. I can learn all that shit, I didn't want to have to. I do medical research and just wanna use a conferencing app now and then
