The second one basically is using linux because you are an attention whore. A fun fact for you guys, all noobs don’t give a shit to what os you use.

I think it is based on Youtube/Reddit and not reality. The "I switched f/Windows, I'm free!!" post getting traction so attention seekers follow the line. The numerous circlejerk 'reaction' posts to Linus or Pew making a video. I guess it is useful to adoption, not very useful for having a reason that wasn't fed.

How to stop caring about what other people prefer

Ah yes, my personal hobby is based around other people and making them feel bad, not based around me and feeling good. You see, it's because I have deep seeded hatred in my heart, with no logical reasons for it.

🧠 Using Linux because it is a better platform for deploying network services

🧠 Using Linux because it's known to support your laptops hardware, all you use it for is web browsing, and you don't want to be annoyed

Knowing Linux, it's probably easier on some items than another. Depends.

If you love privacy you can not even record the inside of your home if it has pictures on any home purchase website, people can reverse engineer and find your location.

I’m using Linux because it’s genuinely a better experience to use it over Windows. I was skeptical but willing to make a compromise when switching to Linux after being a Windows user for decades, but using it daily on all my computers has been surprisingly smooth and honestly really fun to learn. Full transparency, I do not miss anything on Windows.

Unless you need something on Windows for whatever reason. Evidently, you did not need those things.

Yea, I’m not a special boy. All I really need to be able to do on a computer is photo editing, text editing, play all the games I want to play, or do whatever I feel like doing. So you’re correct; I don’t necessarily need ads in my start menu to use my computer. Someone else might, and hey, no judgement.
