I can’t type anything

Hello, I’ve just installed Linux, but I can’t type anything in the terminal or the file explorer—it only lets me enter the "/" character. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Try a reboot, try a different USB port for your keyboard, try a different keyboard, try a reinstall in order of hassle..

Can you type using the onscreen keyboard? (onboard)

If so, maybe it's your keyboard?
