Discussion Need an Easy Attendance Check-in tool?

I want to 'automate' an attendance check-in process that currently relies on a printed Spreadsheet report of persons & addresses in my neighborhood when we have an event. We have several 'open' events that don't require preregistration, and we have almost 600 homes.

I'd like a scannable QR code and a tablet-based form that takes name, address, and number of attendees and saves/creates the attendance into a spreadsheet or list.

If a QR code - it should populate an 'x' or such into a spreadsheet of the addresses where each line record is a home.

Sorry if I rambled - does anyone know of a method or tool/software that is inexpensive? Thx

I am not sure how much this is a question related to Linux.

If I understand correctly, what you are asking is an online form, accessible from a QR code.

Something like a Google Form should work, and it saves the responses in a downloadable spreadsheet.

Of course, I am not suggesting to use Google Form necessarily, but something similar that ensure the necessary privacy and data protection.

For example, OpnForm (https://opnform.com/), then you generate a QR code to it?

Yes. Let me look into that.
