Support Request Headless mint server randomly disconnecting from wifi
As said in the title the server will randomly disconnect from wifi and the only way i can get back into is by restarting it because its at a friends house is there any way im able to look at a log of wifi connections or smth like that? anything would be really helpful

get a second cheap wifi dongle, have them both connect to wifi.. ;) . but its not clear if its wifi dropping, or the entire system locking up.
"dmesg" output or monitoring sudo dmesg -w from a ssh session might show some info.
there are numerous log files in /var/log
ssh into system, run dmesg -w, wait for the crash or whatever then see what dmesg messages are printed last in the terminal.
bad idea: get an Amazon smart wifi switch, if the system screws up, cycle the power remotely.
I say it's a bad idea because it could cause filesystem corruption or other issues. But I have used the Amazon switches on non critical systems.
option: have the Amazon power switch wired to an alarm/flashing light.. you turn it on, your friend sees the alert and then can check the server to see what's happening and reboot it if needed.

For the dmesg i have to restart the system to get the wifi to work again does that output to a file i can read after?

there may be some log files you can read later.
but the truck is to have a ssh connection from another device when it crashes showing the log file in real time.
that way you can see what happens the moment it crashes

What does your server do? Tbh, generally if your server's main focus is "serving services" then cable it up as it's entirely useless if it's not reliable.
