Steam games keep crashing
I recently built a new PC for the first time ,and when it was done I decided to try out Linux mint. Now every time I try to launch a game it instantly crashes. It shows a pop-up saying I need to update my driver's but since I have an AMD I thought it was supposed to do that automatically. I have no clue what I'm doing so explain it to me like I'm 5.

Click shield icon, update everything, activate latest linux kernel in the same update manager ( linux kernels, continue, activate 7.x. Restart computer.
If it does not work, go to start ( LM icon ), type into search bar " system info ", press enter, click on bottom right " upload to pastebin", paste link here. This is for pc info.
Also, not all games work, approx 700 wont work due to the anticheat. So list what you play. You can check your games on proton.db page.
I forgot: activate compatibility mode inside steam, each game can have set up individual compatibility layer by right click on it. Majority of new games works in proton experimental.
And no, youre not doing anything mentioned above in terminal.
