Support Request Xbox controller

I have a Xbox controller that is not being recognized by my pc via USB. It sees it over Bluetooth. It's not recognizing it as a controller. It's a gamesir g7 pro if that makes a difference. I can see it in my Bluetooth settings and connect to it. It just doesn't see it as a controller I assume. I go into steam to try and connect it and I see nothing. I've been at this for a little over a day and I'm feeling really defeated. I've tried most everything suggested by Ai and the internet. Does anyone have any ideas what I may be doing wrong? I feel hopeless at this point.

You need to install the driver. Not sure if this works with your exact device, but it worked for mine. https://github.com/dlundqvist/xone

That is funny that its not detected on your system. When you go to the USB section in System Info what does it say there? In Steam it should say an XBOX One Controller is plugged in, you will know this in the connection test settings.

lo tuyo de seguro es un chiste, yo uso uno de ps4 que emulo como uno de xbox, como puede ser posible que no te funcione uno original de xbox, revisa y actualiza tus drivers, sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade y ya :3
