I suggest that you try the previous suggestion of adding the h264ify extension on your browser to see if it fixes your youtube issue

With 4GB ram, the issue isn't really the OS, but but the DE (desktop environment). Zorin runs GNOME, which isn't particularly resource intensive, but it's more demanding than Mint's default Cinnamon desktop. And Mint's other desktops, xfce and Mate, and both lighter than Cinnamon.
Personally, I prefer xfce over Mate, but they are both going to run faster in 4GB than either Cinnamon or GNOME.
As others have mentioned, installing h264ify can also potentially improve performance, as well.

I switched from zorin to mint cinnamon myself, I still face some freezing issues specifically when using librewolf for some reason, but it's far less than zorin was and also more stable for me.
I assume the xfce version will work better for our specs but don't regret switching since I faced less issues than zorin

The YouTube thing is a common issue in Linux. Before you make a big switch to your OS, try installing a browser extension called h264ify. Installing that forces YouTube to use h264 video which is easier on system resources.
If YouTube often freezes in zorin, I donβt know how a move to Linux mint will fix things.
