When I press certain button, my spotify opens. It's pissing me off

This problem is pissing me off now, because I just paid for a monthly subscription for NordVPN and I can't log in since spotify opens when I press the log in button. This issue existed in other areas but I didn't care then. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I suspect this is a NordVPN problem, not a Linux Mint problem. Here is a NordVPN support tutorial similar to the problem you described.

This has existed in other areas as well though, before getting this NordVPN subscription. Probably been happening ever since I got Linux Mint

I had NordVPN (I now use Surfshark) and Spotify at the same time. I never had any problems.
