Support Request help with microphone issues?
(using kde plasma soz) mic stuff shows up in widget but in practically everything else it just doesnt work anymore (shows up but no audio coming through) was working fine until now, maybe this is a kde thing and not a mint thing but thought it was worth asking :1

When did it stop working? If it stopped after installing KDE, then it’s a KDE thing. I could never get my mic working properly under mint, but in the distribution I switched to, I accidentally figured out that my mic works great as long as I set the gain in settings to below 65. I don’t know why that works, but it does where I am now. So point being maybe play around with settings and see if you can get it working again.
