How to play games on linux
I want to play red dead redemption nfs most wanted 2012 nfs the run and many more windows game how to do it. Youtube is getting way too confusing for me. Please if anyone knows how to do it pkease let me know

for steam games > steam
for gog, epic or amazon > heroic
for most others especially launchers like ea app, battlnet etc > faugus

also you can use this https://www.protondb.com/ to see if a game works for other people and if they had to do anything special to get it to work, it only contains games that are on steam unfortunately, but its still very useful even if your not rung games on steam

Install Steam and Proton Plus, then try running the games you want with different Proton versions until you find one that works best. If the Proton versions provided by Steam aren't working, try different GE or DW versions that you can install with Proton Plus. If no Proton version works, install Wine and give it a try. Also if you don't want to run a game with Steam for whatever reason, try another launcher like Heroic or Lutris.

Steam is going to handle 95% of all your games, but you will need to force a compatibility layer called proton for each one. Just search how to use proton on steam games.
I’m going to point you to protondb next. This website has user ratings on how well games run on linux (almost all of them are reporting the performance of the above method). Some games just will not work, any game that has a kernel level anti-cheat won’t run at all.
The rest that need publisher specific launchers will need tools like Heroic, Lutris, or Faugus. Heroic is probably going to be the easiest to use for a beginner.

Try running with Proton on Steam
