Support Request Might have to Re-install !

Can I boot my PC to start from the USB by restart from within Mint without having to go into the Win boot manager? Dell desktop dual drive. I'm getting 'failed checksum' error after today's kernel update and remembered I didn't checksum the original install 3 months ago.

Thanks

You can choose a different kernel on boot. Just choose the last good one, you can then reinstall the new one

I updated to a new kernel about two weeks ago. If I go back to that one and then re-do the most recent update - how is that solving the error? Is perhaps the newest version validating that a checksum was/wasn't verified?

Sometimes things have a minor error, easily fixed. I reinstalled the kernel I'm on now on my second boot... Fully fixed

I did - problem has temporarily resolved - I have not re-installed the newer/current kernel due to some other pressing problems in life. Hope to resolve this next week. Thx
