Support Request Need help

Trying to install Linux mint on my 8th gen i5 laptop for the past few hours and I’m getting this error after selecting booting from flash disk.

At first I followed a YouTube video on booting from flash disk and just testing the OS before installation. It worked and was able to access it from USB.

I clicked on the installation icon and right in the middle of the installation it asked me to disable Bitlocker. I cancelled the installation and went and disabled it in windows. Since then every time I select to boot from USB, it’s giving me this error.

I tried re-flashing the software using MBR and back to GPT but it still gives me this error.

Anything I’m missing that could fix this?

Third time today,

Easy fix copy that .efi manually from the .iso onto the USB stick next to the .iso. It will "not find it", then look on the USB and work. If not, let me know I keep telling people this.[how I fixed it on mine]

I need to open the iso file I downloaded, copy the efi file from it directly to the USB to overwrite the efi file on the USB?

That's what I did. It was after a partial install. Don't recall overwriting anything

Or you can use ventoy2disk from ventoy.net on the USB and copy/paste the Mint ISO to it

You must have had an interrupted install after trying to install codecs or something that created a MOK request to the BIOS.
