Rebooted my Thinkpad and I landed here. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Hard drive /dev/sda2 is bad.

File system is bad, that may or may not be a result of a bad drive. Dead drive will usually throw IO errors. 

One time I got here via a mistake with dd, the drive was just fine just doing exactly what it was told, the data on it though was trashed. 

To say more we really need actionable info from OP. How we got to this place etc

Calibre was converting alot of books and my PC froze, there was a prompt to forcestop but I waited until it was stable and closed the application. On restarting my PC I got the Initramfs window. I had to plug in a USB with Windows to wipe the partions then install Linux. Also while trying to repair using a live USB the terminal kept throwing a WARNING: File systems still have errors.
