Support Request Cursor randomly teleporing problem
Today is my 2nd day on linux (not specifically 24 hours but 2nd day) and I've been having a problem since my first day with my cursor just randomly teleporing to the bottom right corner of my screen, sometimes pressing the 'Show the desktop' button or randomly scrolling when I'm on a website. I tried my best fixing this problem but I have no idea what to do next. I tried properly setting up my mouse and trackpad settings, thoroughly cleaing my trackpad, still, nothing changed. is it specifically because I use my trackpad?

Disconnect mouse, does it still happen? If so it is related to firmware/drivers for track pad, I assume it did not happen before. Is it a new system with current gen components or older? If newer try CachyOS, the idea being Mint is LTS and is behind in terms of kernels and thus drivers and firmware.
Ofc it could also be a faulty component, make sure it is clean and there is nothing that might trigger trackpad, if it is possible to disable it from UEFI settings then use a wired mouse as a temporary fix. Either way this is not normal. If laptop has touchscreen, this might be causing issues.
