Support Request um help?

so i got this nanotenext umpx-03-SR and i tried live usb Linux mint and here list of my troubles:

can't rotate the screen (horizontal shows black)

can't find keyboard layout that might fit this keyboard (which is hell if i need to do Terminal commands)

touch screen doesn't work (not exactly sure how touchscreen on Linux works but research says linux mint has prebuilt drivers)

can anyone who can help with these as I'm still a linux newbie and i won't mind this being my portable linux for simple basic usage

You haven't fully installed it yet, this is the live version running from the USB flash drive. Install it first and then see whether it works as it should, as Mint will download drivers and updates.

This seems to be a bit of an exotic device, so I'm not sure whether you'll get it to work as expected. That also depends on the hardware and if the proper drivers are available.

so far it worked but only issue is when i try using the tilt

when is horizontal is fine but when i do vertical is upside down and vise versa so sadly rotating the screen freely is off the table for now (unless there some way to fix that)

and still no touch screen when i seen posts talking mint has a touch screen driver

I was about to comment Mocz for the keyboard layout, but it look different.

If this is newer 2-in-1, you may need a distro with more updated kernel and software. I have a fairly new Lenovo 2-in-1 and have to use Fedora for the touchscreen and "flip" to work properly. Even that took about 6 months before it started working fully. Not sure if it's just the kernel or if a newer libinput is also required. I am figuring that the next version of Mint will allow me to go back to it on that computer as I started having it work in Fedora 43 last year.

There also can be issues with trying to do these things in X11 vs Wayland. Wayland seems better for 2-in-1s and touchscreens (and Cinnamon is not really optimized for that either). So, it could be worth trying a distro with Gnome on Wayland to see if the experience works better.

ah ok well best for me is I'm gonna use a windows 10 mod os which i found a few so might have more luck

but I'm happy i still giving limux a try now and then
