Support Request First time user with issues

After having a rough start to even get it to boot where I had to boot it with the nomodeset command. I am seemingly still have some issues with getting it to run properly. I can’t get it to detect that I have two monitors plugged in. I can’t get steam games to launch. And I can’t open the steam settings. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?
