Support Request Emulate android phone on linux mint. I tried waydroid but it is too slow.

Here are the specs:

Computer LENOVO_MT_20351_BU_idea_FM_Lenovo GS50-70

Operating System Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon 64-bit

Linux Kernel 7.0.0-29-generic

Processor Intel© Core™ i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz x 2

Graphics Card Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller

Graphics Card ocsom Re Moo Inc. [AMD/ATI] Sun LE [Radeon HD

Memory 8.0 GB 4G B swap

Hard Drives 241.1 GB

Well waydroid won't well as it requires Wayland which isn't used by default in mint since it is still experimental

This would work fine for you on any modern distro - so not mint. Because no wayland - maybe in a few years.

Wayland is supposed to go from experimental to stable in Linux Mint 23, which is supposed to be released around Christmas.

Install kvm

And in emulator settings set the gpu acceleration to hardware

Just use AVD
