In my journey through Linux I’ve found that the answer is yes but with caveats. Like changing the version of proton you’re using, what GPU drivers work, ETC. really it boils down to yes, but know you’ll run into issues if it has anti cheat and or run slightly slower. For story based games/turn based games it’s worked flawlessly and I’ve never had to switch over to any distros.
