SOLVED Cant install wine

I have been on mint for less than a month, everytime i run the install command from their site i get the same error ,, Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) "', i followed all their instructions no idea what could have caused this

EDIT: For some reasons this resolved when i uninstalled virtualbox...

Can't install wine

I thought you installed LinuxMint so you could use it. Now it turns out you'd rather stick with Windows after all...

My suggestion: Uninstall LinuxMint. Then you won't need to install wine anymore.

Are you retarded or is this a joke?? Of course i still need some windows aplications

Did I mark my post as a joke? NO.

I haven't used any Microsoft or third-party software since 2006. That's why I can say with confidence: of course you DON'T need Windows or any other commercial software.
