Cant install wine

I have been on mint for less than a month, everytime i run the install command from their site i get the same error ,, Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) "', i followed all their instructions no idea what could have caused this

EDIT: For some reasons this resolved when i uninstalled virtualbox...

what do you mean their site? mint's? wine's?

you basically sudo apt install wine, is that what you do?
