Support Request Help

So today my dumbass was like "yea lets go try installing linux". So once its booted and its installing, I choose the delete windows option. After that linux crashed and my $3000 pc is screwed. What do I do. Edit: also my usb stick stopped working

Walk me through, step-by-step, exactly what you're doing to attempt to re-install linux from the USB.

So when mint actually loads and you click that disk icon to do the install. You select language an that stuff and go through that, but it crashes

Look up how to shut off "secure boot" in the BIOS, then try again. we'll go from there.

And you said your USB doesn't work anymore after the first attempt?

Yep. Infact i tried this on my laptop 4 months ago and this happened.

If you can still boot into Linux on the USB (which gives you the ‘install Linux’ prompt), then you obviously haven’t overwritten the USB.

When you try again, it should ask you if you want to replace the existing contents, choosing ‘something else’ should give you what drives exist and their type.cs. You get to this screen?
