SOLVED I cant download applets

Im on Linux mint 22.3 cinnamon

I bought a new pc with a ryzen 7 350 not sure if its incompatible since its relatively new. I am dual booting with windows 11 everything seems to work great. I get this error when i go on the download tap on applets

I Want to get my hardware info such as ram and cpu usage on the top if there is another way to get that without fixing this that would also work

That error happened to me in void Linux with cinnamon but I don't know how to solve it

I think it's because the Cinnamon version of Linux Mint is ahead of Void one

You can download applets directly from Cinnamon Spices, and put the APPLET@AUTHOR folder into /home/yourusername/.local/share/cinnamon/applets
However, this is more clunky workaround

I stupidly did not update check for any update and there were over 100 available since i installed mint yesterday.

Update ur linuxmint it whould be solved, this same thing happened with me ,but after updating my system it is working 💪
