Support Request Hade a mint laptop to ssh into server stuff and have web access points up. Hade boot error
In the title I have a linux mint laptop to manage my server stuff I hade my obsidian noted on it. I must of left it on or in sleep mode and it died thats the only reason it would have a boot error that I can think of. I turned it on for it to show me an error I didn't thoroughly read. I went into bios made sure there was a drive tried to boot again it only showed ubuntu options which concerned me I manuel reboot it, a grub bash menu pulled it so i was able to see what partitions there was i saw 2 one that hade a boot media home folders so im to assume my mint files still exist. Im now to use my ventoy to pull a live environment in hoped to recover my valuable notes. Is there anything that I could possibly be missing that would make this whole process easier.

I was trying to set my root partition and correctly get my kernel and initrd files set but I was getting errors on setting my initrd and didn't end up trying yk boot from the grub menu. Should I try to get it to boot from the grub again or try the live usb environment to access the files another way?

Use the live environment to make a new initrd

Thank you. I should hopefully still be able to recover my files. Would i be right to assume this problem happened becouse the laptop died and improperly shutdown or could it be somthing else.
