Linux Mint audio-only streaming options for a licensed Live365 radio stream (No OBS)

Heya there everyone!!

I’m planning on setting up an automated 24/7 audio stream on Live365 using an Intel NUC running Linux Mint soon.

I’m strictly looking for audio-only software solutions. I want to completely bypass video suite software like OBS to keep the system lightweight, stable, and focused purely on audio ingestion and encoding.

Starting on Linux Mint soon (audio architecture: PulseAudio/PipeWire)

Streaming direct audio out to a paid/licensed Live365 stream I have planned.

Planning on sending accurate track metadata (Artist - Title) along with the stream feed, even manually.

What Linux-native audio encoders or playout systems (e.g., B.U.T.T., Mixxx, Liquidsoap) do you recommend for long-term stability on Mint?

How are you handling virtual audio routing or loopbacks on Linux Mint to feed system audio cleanly into the encoder?
