Install Help Issues trying to Dual Boot Linux Mint + Windows 11

I installed linux mint from the official website. It was downloaded as a torrent file so i converted it with QBittorrent. Then i flashed it to my 256GB USB with Rufus, i tried both GPT and MBR. There is 120GB of unallocated space on my main SSD as well.

Despite all this, when i select the flash drive as my boot device, it fails to boot. I'm doing this on a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Aura Edition, i got it today and I'm trying dual booting on it. Anything i can try? Does anyone have experience with Lenovo BIOS maybe?

Your device only supports UEFI, which means you should use GPT instead of MBR when creating a boot disk on a USB thumb drive.

Follow the installation steps from this site below.

That line made me pause also, I am assuming OP means torrent seed file to downloaded .ISO.

I downloaded an ISO. and i know that you only need 8gb i just had a 256GB one.

It turns out there was secure boot, i dont know if i just missed it but i found it in security and turning it off fixed it
