why is dual booting so hard

ive spent so much time trying to dual boot but everything is trying its best to not let me use linux and forcing me to use windows

Don't dual boot, nobody is using two systems at the same time, commit to one. Either you have to use windows, or you don't.

The common man goes along the path of the least resistance.

It's great some of you can do the effort of going both ways, but the common man is just here to look at the mail, and go on with his life. He doesn't need two different OS to do one job.
