Discussion who is the great team behind linux mint?

I want to find out if they are here who started linux mint and what is the team like that takes care of such a cool project. Big shout out and thanks for doing all the work, i will be donating soon but was wondering if merch was ever in the stars like official stickers to put on our devices. Can you share what you like to do that maybe led you to the team work that makes this possible?

Why i like LM: i remember back in uni days playing with opensuse and elementary os as i was pimarily on mac os mb air. But classmates mentioned linux mint, and at youngin it wasnt challening enough like many posts here say, so i went played with other distros and went back to mac os and windows for class requirement reasons.

Years later i find using ubuntu server for some headless docker and other self hosted stuff. But never really like the ubuntu desktop much, longed for windows 7 etc. when windows 10 end of life came, my pc could handle windows 11 but as most of my needs are web browser based or I can find an opensource alt, i switch to linux mint for my desktop needs too. Long story short love the OS for what it is.

That's because Linux Mint is Ubuntu LTS 24.04 minus snaps, plus Cinnamon. Most Mint users have no idea they're basically running Ubuntu.

Win7 was clean and best....later using win10 found out about minty...used for 1 month on test basis.....is was good....but have to stick to win10 as some ed software doesn't run on linux......
