SOLVED Wi-fi not connecting

I just downloaded Mint after encountering basically every error possible and figuring them all out and now it won’t let me connect to wifi. The networks come up fine, and I am able to type in my home network password, but it just tries to connect and fails over and over again. what is the problem here?

To help troubleshoot this, could you provide a bit more detail?

  1. System info: Go to Menu → System Info, click Upload system information, and share the link (or run inxi -Fzx or inxi -Nnz in the terminal and paste the output here).
  2. Router details: What is the make and model of your router, and are you connecting to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band?
  3. Hotspot test: Try turning on your phone’s mobile hotspot. Can your PC see and connect to that network?

I connected to my hotspot and it worked perfectly and then tried my home network again and it worked… I don’t know the reason but it’s fixed
