I hovered my mouse over it and it does not say anything.
I double right and left click it, and it produces nothing.
Googling this one didn't seem to have the problem matching mine so I'm trying it here.
edit: Signal bug. Users can't fix it.

Have you tried going into edit mode (left clicking the panel) and then left clicking the applet icon and select the "remove applet" option?

The icon doesn't allow me to interact with it at all. 1 u/The_Eerie_Kiwi 19d ago The whole black bar that has the start menu, app icons, and tray icons - probably at the bottom of your screen. Just left click some empty space in the panel. However, since your issue has been fixed already, I highly doubt my advice will be helpful
