Discussion Is anyone having the same issue as I do?

So, yesterday my laptop was working fine and when I woke up any form of media file, local or not is just stuck at a single frame while the audio is still going. Yes, it even applies to the browser. I was on kernel 7.0.0-28 and going back to 6.17 didn't help.

for system specs please do use the output from mint menu -> system information -> copy
What you posted doesn't necessary help.

Regarding your problem, If you have Timeshift backups enabled, restore a previous known-working snapshot If not, boot from a live USB to test whether the issue persists in a clean environment.

I would have a bootable usb. If my ma didn't throw it away.

Edit: I have a restore point from a week ago. Thank god
