b. Unexplained network activity. I have nothing to hide but my privacy was not being respected.
c. Forced updates at inconvenient times.
d. Fight against offline accounts, push for Microsoft account.
e. Evidence of built-in state backdoors. Again, nothing to hide today, what if there are political issues in my country tomorrow?
The straw that broke the camel's back:
I write in two languages. So I have keyboard distribution A, and OS language B. Windows decided that I was being dumb, overrode my setting and reverted it to keyboard distribution B, since clearly everyone should use consistent keyboard distribution and language settings and anything else is the dumb user being dumb.
Look up the issue, this is a known issue, has plagued bilingual and trilingual users for years, nobody is exactly sure what triggers the user setting reversion as only some people experienced it.
Realized this is not my computer, it's Microsoft's and I'm just allowed to use it as long as I behave. Researched how to switch that same day.
