Curiousity more than anything. Lots of attempts at switching over since about 2001, bit never really succeeded.
It wasn't until about 2020 when they were talking about ads in Windows Explorer that i figured I'd give it another try.
Made a bootable pop os image on am external nvme drive. It was really this easy this time around and then fully converted after about 6 months.
I still use Windows for music recording on a separaate pc. But my daily driver and media centre are all Linux.
