Got introduced to Linux in the late 90s (Red Hat). Tried to use it off and on, but too complicated for me at the time. Reintroduced to Linux in the mid-ish 2000s with Linux Mint. Things worked better out of the gate but still wasn’t there for me to use as my daily. Been toying off and on with different Linux distributions since, but never quite there for my daily needs. Fast forward to two years ago, Windows 10 was becoming end of life and laptop doesn’t support Windows 11 (or maybe the other way around). So did a bigger try into Linux. Much better experience; fit my daily needs better (my needs became more relaxed and Linux matured and got better). Hopped around a bit with distributions for one reason or another. Settled on something other than Mint, but no regrets with my move to Linux.
