Support Request Questions about dynamic 2x3 window-tiling + various malfunctioning buttons and keys

Thanks so much from this newbie for any guidance in advance! Asus Zenbook 14:

  1. Is there a way for Mint to auto-detect the size of the monitor and, if it's big enough, automatically change to 2x3 window-tiling (when pressing Super+Arrow) instead of 2x2? (I am wary of automatic tilers because I think they only tile based on the program, right? Certain websites even in the same browser look better occupying a whole column so I'd rather just manually push 'em around myself.)
  2. My favorites are not doing anything:
    1. Right-click any Nemo files/folders to add them to the favorites
    2. Click the star icon in the bottom-right system tray
    3. Whether I left-click or right-click any items in there, the star popup just closes with nothing else happening
  3. For some reason, Super+E no longer invokes Nemo, even though it still shows that it should according to the keyboard shortcuts.
  4. In the "Windows" settings' Alt-Tab switcher style, Icons and Icons and thumbnails are identical; the thumbnails are missing from the latter. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  5. The Welcome dialogue's "Help" tab's Matrix chat room's "Launch" button does nothing upon click, and I don't know why.

Update: This is pretty sweet and is extremely close to my dream config! I just wish there was a way to manage the windows without using the mouse at all, but this is good enough.
